How can I change how pagination works between sections and chapters?

Pagination between sections and chapters is modified via the setup screen for a course. If you have access to the course setup screen, follow these steps.

Step 1: Login to Doctum with your username/password

Step 2: Click on the MANAGE COURSES tab, then locate the course that will contain the bookmarks.

Step 3: Once you have located the course, click the "setup" button to access the course setup.

Step 4: On the course setup page, locate the COURSE FEATURES module and observe what type of Linear Navigation is selected.

• Course - Using the previous and next button will allow you to navigate linerally through the entire content of a course without navigating from chapter to chapter or section to section
• Chapter - Using the previous and next buttons will allow you to navigate through a given chapter before being required to choose another chapter in the course
• Section - Using the previous and next buttons will allow you to navigate through a given section before being required to choose another section in the course.

Step 5: Based on the definitions above, if you choose to change the linear navigation from it's current state, click Save at the bottom of the setup screen.
